FOOD & FOLK FESTIVAL

The very best of the South East’s produce and folk traditions will be showcased at our charming spring event. Enjoy free cookery classes and short talks, traditional folk music and dancing, vendors selling local produce and crafts, plus much more. There will be lots of tasty samples to try before you buy!
Food & Drink
Visit vendors around the Museum site, which feature tasty local produce, cookery books and country crafts from in and around the south east.
Come and watch cookery demonstrations and hear short talks in the Cookery Theatre. We are pleased to welcome back Hilary Knight of the Sussex Food network, who will act as the host.
Folk around the Museum

New for 2017 – this popular event has been extended to three days!
The Food & Folk Festival will take place from Saturday 29 April through to Monday 1 May 2017 at the Weald & Downland Museum at Singleton, near Chichester. Standard admission prices apply (free for Annual Members) and tickets will be available to purchase in advance via our online shop.
Visitors with disabilities are advised to contact the Museum in advance of their visit, to discuss the easiest way to access the site.
Dogs on short leads are welcome and there is ample free parking. The Museum will open daily from 10.30am, closing at 5pm.
